Greetings!
Welcome to the December issue of Residue
News! Foresite wants to wish all of its loyal
readers and customers a happy holiday season. In
the new year, we all must prepare to face the RoHS
deadline, and Foresite is busy now qualifying new
lead free processes and remaining up to date with all
the latest developments. In this issue, find some
helpful advice on surface finish choices, as well as a
warning tale about reflow profiles.
| Let it Flow |
 |
|
The importance of fully activating fluxes is integral in
acheiving clean, reliable product. In this case study,
we look at a customer who just needed to make
some modifications to a double sided reflow profile in
order to allow proper solder flow and flux complexing.
