About Us
Who are we?
Foresite is a consulting and analytical test laboratory dedicated to solving product reliability issues created when electronic manufacturing process residues and surface contaminants degrade field performance.

Identification of the specific residues present is only part of the service that Foresite provides. We provide a detailed project report outlining the problem, our analysis of the root cause, and viable suggestions for solving the problem and consulting to improve your process. Foresite seeks to educate about residue effects in addition to solving our customers' problems.

Why use Foresite?
Foresite has created an extensive database of knowledge and experience in residue characterization methods, and uses this information to resolve electronics manufacturing problems.

Terry Munson, President of Foresite, has extensive electronics industry experience applying Ion Chromatography analytical techniques to a wide spectrum of manufacturing applications. This includes such areas as semiconductor manufacturing, bare board fabrication, low solids flux application techniques, and various electronic assembly processes. Terry currently chairs the IPC Ionic Cleanliness Task Group. He has served as session chair at technical seminars on contamination effects at industry shows.

The technical support staff  has expertise in automotive, medical, and general commercial electronic manufacturing processes as well as chemical analysis, training, and consulting.

When do you need Foresite?
Foresite provides technical expertise when our clients have questions and concerns about residues or cleanliness. This valuable service is provided in various ways such as in-depth investigations of contamination on bare boards or assemblies, assessments of the risk factors for existing hardware in the field, consultation on how to transition to a new manufacturing process or optimize an existing operation. Our ultimate goal is to educate the client or their customers on residue effects in regards to product reliability.
