KOKOMO, IN, February 20, 2007 - Foresite
is pleased to announce their recent partnership with Aqueous
Technologies to be the exclusive, worldwide distributor of the
C3. Aqueous Technologies, based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA,
currently sells automatic defluxing, ultrasonic stencil cleaning
and cleanliness testing equipment. They also sell defluxing and
stencil cleaning chemicals and evaporators. Aqueous Technologies
has been in existence for 15 years, winning 15 prestigious
awards for their various products. Foresite hopes their
commitment to exceed customers’ expectations, along with their
dedication to well designed, high performance and relevant
technology, will allow the C3 to reach and aid many
manufacturers of high quality products.
The C3 is a localized cleanliness tester and extraction system
which is expected to be a solid addition to Aqueous
Technologies’ cleaning and testing equipment. The C3 is most
effective as a process control tool to be used on the production
floor or in a lab setting. The C3 was developed to meet an
industry need to test critical areas of printed circuit
assemblies; by examining the cleanliness of these assemblies
manufacturers are able to spot and correct cleanliness problems
that may lead to field failures. Through the use of the C3,
Foresite has been able to optimize the understanding of
cleanliness requirements, creating a new Foresite cleanliness
specification with critical limits for bare boards, components,
housings, and no clean and cleaned assemblies. The cleanliness
specification includes correlation data to product reliability
and field performance.
